Think Hard and Think Well

Something that has been on my heart lately is thinking. It's funny to think that I've been thinking about thinking, but it's true. How often do you sit down and think about thinking well? Our society is spoon fed through certain types of delivery systems. So why think, when we are spoon fed like babies? Things like music, TV, and news transform our Worldview. What is worldview you ask? Everyone has a worldview. Your worldview is your framework for understanding existence. Two questions can define your worldview in it's simplest form. What is the nature of God? What is the nature of man? Every human being has an answer to this question. God placed eternity in the heart of man so how can there be a man that has not thought about eternity? "He has also set eternity in the human heart; yet no one can fathom what God has done from beginning to end" Ecclesiastes 3:11. It is surprisinly  easy to asses the worldview of an individual by simply observing their actions. Matthew 7:16 says,"By their fruits you will recognize them." Our Christian lifestyle speaks much louder than our Christian vocabulary. We often do not think about it, but we are being perceived by someone constantly. I encourage you to think hard and to think well. Logically think and contemplate the things that you allow into your mind. Do not walk through life accepting everything the world throws at you because the world spits in the face of your sweet Jesus.

  1. AVERY! I love this. This is a perfect recap for the week :) I especially love the last sentence, and the challenge that "our Christian lifestyle speaks much louder than our Christian vocabulary." Hm...something to think about! Love you - Hannah
